Regrettably we a closing for 2021

We have decided to close for business during 2021.

The English variant is rapidly spreading through Italy, another lockdown is expected shortly. A seventy-year-old neighbour and friend in the village contracted Covid this week, his wife and son have since become ill. The Italian vaccination program has been very slow starting, with less than 6.5 million people vaccinated to date. Lynn and I don’t qualify to receive our vaccination until October 2021, excluding supply shortages and bureaucratic interruptions.

We are carefully monitoring the situation (just like you) and, at this moment, cannot provide an estimated time when Italy will reopen.

During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, the decision to close for 2021 has been very difficult, we’re disappointing repeat and new customers, some who carried over last year’s bookings, and were pinning their hopes on travel to Italy reopening. Writing off a second year’s income is also a big decision. Having regained some certainty in our lives, we already feel healthier and happier. We will use this time to refresh the interior, and continue with our garden improvements and expansion. Keeping ourselves busy, socially distanced and in self-isolation.

We encourage you to stay safe. We will be missing you and look forward to serving you again in the future.

Until then, connect with us online via our website and social media channels. This is where you’ll find any updates on how we are managing. Stay abreast of what’s happening by subscribing to our newsletter and following us on social media. That’s where we’ll first update you with any news on reopening.
You can also continue to support our business in various ways. In addition to subscribing to our newsletter and following us on social media, tell a friend or family member about us.
If you have specific questions not addressed here or on our website, reach out to us. We’re still available to answer your questions and respond to any concerns.

We’re working diligently to adapt to new circumstances while planning for the future. Our customers have always been the heart of our business. We’re grateful to you, for your ongoing support.

Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities around the world that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread.

We’re all in this together, learning together, and adapting together.

Sincerely
Bill and Lynn
