Long-Stays

We are offering our property for long stays during the low season, which is available monthly from mid-September to mid-May.

The swimming pool will be closed until June. The hot tub is available.

Included in the monthly rental are: standing charges for water and electricity, the TV license, internet (50 Mbps), council fees, and refuse collection.

As a long stay guest, you will be responsible for paying for the utilities you consume: Gas, Electricity, and Firewood.

You will only pay for what you use; meters on the property make it easy to control usage.

You will also be responsible for the Final Cleaning Fee of €270. (This includes €180 for the cleaners and the Laundry charge of €85)

Winter Utility costs from January, February, and March 2025.

Villa Ariola is well insulated and has efficient heating systems, but, being a spacious home with high ceilings, winter fuel bills can be significant if not managed well. These figures are from a family of three in 2025 and should serve as an indication. Your bills will depend heavily on the temperature you set in the house and the outdoor weather. The gas-fired heating was programmed for three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening. The Log fire was used occasionally. The heat pump consumes electricity, providing AC in the summer and heat in the winter only in the bedrooms. Log fires are a lot of work, but they are definitely the cheapest way to heat in cold weather, and I personally love heating the house with the fire.

We will provide a Rental Agreement to protect both parties. Set clear expectations for house rules, payments, and responsibilities to prevent misunderstandings and problems before they start, and provide recourse if they do arise.

I will require one month's rent paid in advance.

Plus a returnable deposit of 2 months' rent, to cover utility bills and any damage/breakages.

Your deposit will be returned within two weeks of your departure, less the final cleaning fee, utility charges, and the damage deposit, either in whole or in part.
